*Cute as a Button* Rio Rancho, New Mexico Newborn Photographer*

The Beginnings of all things are small.

~Cicero~

This cutie was such a good, little model for her first photo shoot. She allowed me to capture her in many different poses, and then was so curious about everything going on that she woke and was determined to stay that way no matter what her mommy and daddy tried. J & S...you have such a beautiful, little girl. Thank you for your patience in getting the shots...look at what images you have to remember her first days. Blessings.

*Such a Joy* Albuquerque Children Photographer* Albuquerque Family Photographer*

While the big things in life overwhelm us, the little things bring sunshine in our lives.

~Unknown~

It's incredible to me how a small soul can touch your life. With a simple smile, giggle, or expression, they can find a way into your heart. This sweet pea did just that at our session. It is such a special thing when a little being trusts you enough to open themselves up to you...reach out for you to hold them, and more importantly, accept you as their friend. Thank you F family for allowing me to capture your precious baby girl and family once again. I will forever hold that hot summer afternoon in my heart, as we celebrated your baby girl's first year of life.

*Baby G* *Albuquerque Newborn Photographer*

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.
~Stacia Tauscher~

This little guy was such an easy babe to pose and shoot. He slept through the entire session, and didn't seem to mind all of the fuss over his cute self. It is always such a joy to meet new, little ones after their mommy's maternity session. It's so exciting to anticipate their arrival, and then to have the honor of holding and capturing such a tiny, new life. Thanks again, M family for sharing your lives with me. Blessings.

Happy 4th of July!

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
~Lee Greenwood~

From my family to yours...Happy Independence Day! May your day be filled with food, family, fun, fireworks, and a reverence to those who have and continue to proudly and bravely serve our beautiful country. God bless the USA!

*Playin' in the Park* Albuquerque Child Photographer* *Albuquerque Family Photography*

You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.

~Plato~

I have known the husband of this precious family since he was born. Granted, I was only about three years old, but I do remember meeting him for the first time. I remember holding his grandma’s hand and being introduced to his swaddled self by his mom. I have numerous memories of playing around my grandma’s pond, playing He-Man, eating ding dongs at his grandma’s, and making mud pies with him. Good times. So, after all of these years, being able to watch him play with his own family made my heart light. So many years of memories connected by a history that goes back to lifelong best friends and neighbors...our respective grandmas. While editing these images, I couldn’t help but recognize family resemblances, which helped my heart to heal a bit, as his grandma, and my surrogate, passed away recently. Seeing Her shining through her great grand daughter’s eyes reinforced that she will continue to live on through her legacy of love. In memory and with all of my love and blessings.

*Glowing* Albuquerque Maternity Photography*

Love is the chain whereby to bind a child to its parents.
~Abraham Lincoln~

It is always such an honor to capture momentous times in people's lives. When I have the opportunity to shoot someone I know, it makes my job that much more rewarding. I have known this sweet girl for quite sometime now. However, over the years our paths went their separate ways. So, when I received her call to book a session I was so excited to see her again, and this time, as an expectant mommy. If that wasn't enough to reconnect with her...her husband played baseball under my husband's coaching at the Academy! Small world to say the least. I fully enjoyed our hot afternoon together...and at 38 weeks, this girl was an absolute trooper! Thank you *S* family for sharing your love with my camera...I will forever remember the adoration that you two have for one another, and the sweet way J beamed at your beauty, A. Blessings.
